Hi! I’m Giulia, a design student, born and raised in Milan. I've always wanted to share with visitors my interest in and excitement about Italian culture and my infinite enthusiasm for cinema, music, and literature. To find the soul of the city, my suggestion would be to take one of the old trams and enjoy the view of Milan from its windows. Before I forget, you can’t leave Milan without trying the famous “aperitivo”! I enjoy relaxing with a book in Cascina Cuccagna, an old rural building that houses a restaurant, a flower shop (you will fall in love with the owner!) and a farmers’ market on Tuesdays. I'm always keen to meet new people, and when they're from a cultural background different from mine it's even more exciting! Stepping out of the busy streets to see the picturesque corners of Milan is one of my favourite pastimes. I wonder a bit and maybe get lost in a new neighborhood. Discovering hidden courtyards is always a pleasure for me, I can't wait to show off some of my favorites like Villa Necchi Campiglio (take a look at the pictures and you’ll know why).
