Here’s everything you need to know before your day unfolds.
From Roman ruins to a legendary fashion scene, the list of reasons to visit Milan is longer than the Navigli Canal. But don’t feel too overwhelmed by the endless attractions because you’ve got eight hours and a local host to help you make the most of it! You might centuries-old buildings like the Duomo di Milano cathedral, or perhaps the opulent Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II – Italy’s oldest shopping mall – is more your idea of significant historical architecture. In dire need of a spritz or a slice of pizza? You could head to the local haunt Manhattan bar, but the panoramic sunset views from the 16th floor of Martini Tower might prove too unmissable.

Show moreIt was my first time in Milan and I only had 2 days before my business trip, so I booked a full day tour with a local for my first day. Pritika was my assigned guide, and she contacted me before my trip to understand my interests. We shaped the day’s agenda together, and she did some research to find a couple of things I was interested in. I wanted to experience the city like a tourist AND a local, and Pritika exceeded my expectations!! She was prompt, polite, friendly and very knowledgeable. We took the subway and the tram, so I got to experience those and the central station and then today was able to navigate by myself. The places we went were a great selection, and Pritika knows so much history, but she also shared some fun facts. She was flexible with the day’s plan, and we stopped for gelato and had a tasty lunch at a pizza spot. And, even though we didn’t get to 2 of the places on my list, she sent me links that I used today to go to them. I highly recommend this tour, and Pritika as a guide - it was a wonderful and fun day! I got to do way more than if I had just wandered around Milan by myself. Thank you!
