Fiorella, private guide in Brussels

HELLO, I’M FIORELLA

I live in Brussels.
I work in Brussels.

About me

I'm currently looking for a job in the tourism field. I've graduated in October 2021 from the tour guide cursus that I had followed for 2 years. My goal is to work as a tour guide in Belgium. I'm deeply convinced that tourists prefer to have an authentic experience, meaning to see the city through the eyes of a local, in order to have the best experience possible and to discover local culture and attractions that aren't necessarily listed in tourist guide books. I'm so founded on my city, Brussels, I like the energy the people have. It's a multicultural city actually. It's the second multicultural city after Dubaï. There are about 180 different nationalities. It's quite impressive. I'm bilingual (French-Italian) and I speak fluent English. I'm learning Spanish, so I've got some notions. I don't have much experience with guiding. I have guided through my cursus on different topics. My favorite topic to guide on is architecture, but I'm still flexible on topics such as history, royalty, secrets, unusual and so on. I'm also a volunteer guide during the Heritage Days. Every year, during a weekend at the end of September, there are few free events in the capital and all around the country to promote culture and heritage. To close this short bio about me, I'd like to had that I've a very positive nature, I adapt very quickly to an environment and to a group, and I also attentive to body language.
