I love knowing everything about the places I live in. If I have a friend visiting me in Cambridge I take them to the colleges - Downing College and Kings College Chapel (for evensong during term time), the arts - July Open studio and the thriving Kettles Yard (I have been visiting since the 70's), the museums - Fitzwilliam and Scott Polar Research Institute, and the greeneries like the Botanics. I enjoy walking or punting to Granchester for tea or to Stem and Glory, Abantu, and The Chop House for food. For views St Mary's church is a must. I also volunteer at festivals around the year, and my favourites include the Science Festival, Cambridge Literary Festival, Wimpole History and the International Jazz Festival. Cambridge might be small but there is so much to do and see. I love doing my research on the latest activities and events, and I'd be happy to share all this with you.
