My name is Amber and I studied social work in Edinburgh for 4 years at the University of Edinburgh. I grew up in Glasgow and have a huge passion for both Scotland and Edinburgh as a city. Since graduating I have been working as a professional tour guide around the whole of mainland Scotland and the Shetland Islands. When I started my degree I went in with a vague idea that I wanted to work with people. After graduating while showing a friend I met on my travels around Scotland, one evening she said to me 'well if you want to work with people and love traveling- why not combine the two and become a tour guide?'. This was a lightbulb moment for me and everything just clicked. I love helping people the wonders the city has to offer and I hope my love for the place rubs off on those I have the pleasure of showing around.
