About me
I've been living in Tokyo for most of my life. I am fascinated by traditional Japanese art and architecture and since I study design, I frequently visit museums, galleries, temples and shrines to deepen my knowledge. I prefer casual dining rather than fancy restaurants, but I can show you to whichever you'd prefer. I love to spend time in tiny local Izakaya-style bars, where only seven people can sit. It's easy to make friends and forget that you're a tourist in this city. People born in Tokyo are proud of their culture and history. I love Tokyo because the city is beautiful in its chaos- so many things mesh together- old and new, sophisticated and messy. It's impossible to get bored while staying in this city. The most exciting thing to do in Tokyo would be to climb the Tokyo Skytree which is the tallest tower in Japan (634m). I suggest going in the evening- the night view is breathtakingly beautiful! My favourite spot in Tokyo is the Shibuya district, it's always busy but the energy in the neighbourhood is electric.
