If you get the opportunity to choose your tour guide, select Martina! She was FABULOUS! She was knowledgeable, patient, kind, and managed our time so well that we got to see all of what was on our list and then some! We never felt rushed to move on to the next destination. In fact, she managed our time so well that we got to see what we had on our list and the activities she suggested to enhance our experience! What a treat! We got a FULL EXPERIENCE of life in Tokyo! We visited Shrines and Temples as well as the older parts of Tokyo and the newer parts! We got to see where people lived and where kids went to school. As someone who understands our western mindset, she answered our questions fully understanding where we coming from. But with that said, she gave us an appreciation for the Eastern mindset. What an experience! We got to try new foods-I ate octopus balls (yum) and a whipped cream bakery bun (double yum). We HIGHLY RECOMMEND Martina as tour guide. Our tour was wonderful...

We had a great time with Martina! She gave us a FULL tour of Toyko! We got to see where the citizenry lived and went to school. We got to visit Shrines and Temples where she gave us the history of the people. She took us to the old parts of town as well as the new. We have several things to see that were a MUST for us! Not only did we visit all of the places on our list, she added a few more places to visit that enhanced our experience, and she fit it all in our time frame without us feeling rushed or shortchanged! She was friendly and patient. We're old and had to visit the bathroom a lot! (TMI!) Not once did we feel that she was annoyed with us. She made our experience PERFECT! We reflected on our tour with her and determined that it couldn't have gone any better! I gave her a "shout out" on Facebook. I wish I could post her link. She was just that good!

Our guide was most informative and flexible. It was wind and rain the morning of our tour and he was kind enough to reschedule for the afternoon which worked out perfect. Took us to some beautiful places and introduced us to Tokyo’s subway system. I of course was amazed coming from NYC.
