I spent much of my childhood in Japan. I have been fascinated by exploration and travel ever since I was a youth thanks to my mother. I am an architect born in Bolivia. I am a lover of landscapes and cities. I spent 2 years in the United States for cultural exchange where I discovered my wanderlust side. I have been immersed in Japanese culture since I was born. I love Kyoto because I can experience two cities in one place. antique and modern. One of my favorite places in the Gion district, it feels like time travel. At night I like to go for a walk and listen to the sounds of the old town soothing me. Dining and nightlife are also urban experiences. My pick for sushi in Sanjo is Musashi, an authentic place. My favorite festival is Gion matsuri, where you experience vibrant music and custom. it's the overall atmosphere. I also enjoy exploring some of the most serene viewpoints, my favorite is around Shogunzuka Seiryuden and the park next to it. I look forward to making your visit to Kyoto a memorable one.
