My reviews

Taibi was great. He tailored our tour around our interests (adults and kids) and even went out of his way to show us additional places for us to visit after the tour. He also gave us some non-touristy tips! Thank you, Taibi for a great afternoon in Kyoto!

Super amazing guide Taibi who went out of his way to make us feel local and keep everyone from the adults to the two kiddos aged 6 and 2 felt welcomed and cared for. Would for sure recommend him as a guide and also this tour for anyone who wants to explore local markets and get insider tips like a local.

HAD A BLAST! Taibi was such a great private tour guide. He tailored my tour exactly how I wanted it to be (and exceeded my expectations). He brought me all over Kyoto and was very informative. The tour did not feel scripted. In fact, it felt as if I was visiting an old friend and they were showing me around their favorite spots. All the spots we hit were terrific and a great price! I tend to be shy in asking for pictures, but Taibi found the best photo spots and would always offer to take the photo. The tour never felt rushed and I enjoyed every moment of it. THANK YOU TAIBI!!

I had the pleasure of joining a half-day walking tour in Kyoto, Japan, organized by "City Unscripted" - a travel agency I'm revisiting for the second time. Upon arrival, I was greeted by "Taibi," a local guide with unparalleled expertise in Kyoto's living environment and culture. He led me through the city's bustling streets and narrow alleys, unveiling fascinating local tales and secrets. Taibi also invited me to a unique local festival, where I indulged in distinctive Kyoto delicacies. He created opportunities for me to interact with the residents, offering me a direct insight into how the Japanese cherish the cherry blossom season. This experience has enriched my holiday with delightful memories and deepened my understanding of Kyoto. Thank you.
