Hi, I’m Nicola, I’m in my late 20s and I’m a freelance costume designer in Dublin’s theatre scene. I’ve a huge appreciation for history, particularly social history and story telling. If I’m not reading in a corner of a quirky cafe, I’m standing in the middle of an exhibition or museum learning about Irelands most fascinating historic humans. My work has led me to have insiders knowledge of every shop, vintage shop and market the city has to offer and I’ve spent many a happy Sunday afternoon at a flea market. Being a country girl who moved to the big smoke 10 years ago, my heart often leads me to many hiking trails or riverside walks that are within reach from the city. I take every opportunity I can get to travel, and have experienced everything from backpacking through Vietnam with friends to going on city breaks with my Mammy. I recognize that every travel experience is different and that is why traveling can be wonderful. And with all my traveling, I find myself still in love with my hometown and I am so excited to share its magic with all that come to see it.
