I am a Tour Guide
Hello! My name is George, I am from Toronto, Canada. I have been living in Hamburg for almost 3 years. I teach English as a foreign language and, up until recently, conducted tours of downtown Hamburg. I love the fact that the weather here is not as cold as it is in Toronto during the winter. I also love the ease by which people can navigate the city through the use of public transportation. Finally, I love the fact that this city is so green. I used to be a tour leader in Hamburg. I am very familiar with Town Hall, the fountain of Hygia, the Church of St. Peters, The Trose Bridge, St. Nicolas Church, Dyke Street, and Warehouse City. I would love to share the history of these places with you. In addition to the above tourist sites, people should also visit Hafencity, the Elbphilharmonie, take canal tours, the planetarium, the zoo, and the many galleries, museums, and restaurants that the city has to offer. If you are looking for hidden gems I would recommend St. Pauli and the Reeperbahn, due to the great nightlife there and the fact that it stands in sharp contrast to the other aspects of the city's culture. Let me help you navigate and explore all the places you weren't aware Hamburg had to offer.
