About me

Hello! I'm a writer and comedy performer, who has lived in London for 15 years. I am very friendly, with an outgoing personality, and comfortable walking and talking to people of all ages and from all backgrounds. I love history, learning interesting facts, and telling stories, particularly the ones you don't hear about at school! I used to write the scripts for the tourist board's online channel Visit Britain (6 million viewers worldwide!) so I know lots about my great city. Because I have lived all over the capital, I am an expert on many of the small villages that make up London, from the café culture of Muswell Hill to the bustling markets of Brixton. I also have insider knowledge of the performing arts scene and have performed at many of London's great theatres from The Globe and The National, to underground comedy clubs that you would never know even existed!

My most exciting things to do in London

I love literary London and frequent the hang outs of the writers that have inspired me with their work and lives. I am passionate about art from classical to contemporary and love to go to the city's galleries and get inspired by the great masters or the East End's newest kid on the block. I am a foodie and enjoy the world of delicious tastes available here from English afternoon tea to Indian street food or Jamaican jerk chicken. I am also fascinated by occult London and the secret world of real-life witches, wizards and mystics, past and present, who explore dimensions beyond our own!

Eccentric New Yorker with big hair, big personality and tons of energy to show you the best, non-mainstream bars and music scene in London. I have lived in London for almost 10 years and I also know the best markets and independent fashion shops to buy unique garments. I'm a proud father to a 1 year old so I have lately discovered cool, baby-friendly places and restaurants where adults can have a good time. I consider London my hometown; it is vibrant, forever morphing and just really cool. Don't stick to zone 1, there is a much bigger London out there!

I am an eccentric, wacky and original guy who dances to the beat of his own drum. I have lived in London for over 10 years so I know the city like the back of my hand, especially the up and coming areas like Peckham, Camden and Shoreditch. I am super adventurous and I'm always looking for new places to explore and new people to meet. I am a ping-pong semi pro, I play the ukulele and I pride myself on being able to speak a phrase in nearly every language. I am currently learning to speak Japanese and I have many stories and even more jokes to tell. Join me in London for a few hours or even for the whole day and I will introduce you to some of London's best local areas, as well as the main attractions - whatever you prefer.

London is the greatest city in the world. The pubs, the parks and the people. It's a city of great culture, of great buildings and with history around every corner. I've worked in culture and social impact during my eleven-years in London, so I know about the galleries and events and the people who are making things happen in our great city. I'm particularly keen on getting off the beaten path, and showing people around the wonderful hidden surprises. The huge protest bookshop that has banned phones, the park with the unexpected World War 2 relic, the amazing floating record shop on a canal boat.. I also love to travel independently - I know the tube, but prefer to walk or cycle. See the real city!
