Footloose wanderer turned Nagoya-loving musician. Always looking for new experiences and friends, wanting to show the true heart of Nagoya and it's burgeoning underground music, art and nightlife scenes. Check out the seat of the three most important Shoguns of Japanese history, relax in their personal garden and try some traditional Nagoya miso-udon. I'm a musician and teacher who loves the unexpected, find the places you might have walked past, the music beneath the train line, or the bands performing in the underground basement of the ramen shop. Nagoya has a unique mixture of old and new world, with everything available from hip vintage clothes stores to festival Yukata, from 700 year old katana display to mag-lev train museum. Nagoya is the city I came to with no expectations, but fell in love with.
