A Floridian living in Japan for the past 8 years, soaking up the rich culture and nice lifestyle in Kobe. I have traveled to over 40 countries and have traversed all of Japan's 47 prefectures via the eyes of locals. My career lies in academia (I have been teaching mathematics for the past 15 years) and my passion is traveling. My career and passion go hand-in-hand as I believe (and know through experience) that a lot of learning takes place while traveling and exposing oneself to the unknown.
