We had the sweetest guide Hiroko. We were more interested in understanding how the trains work in Tokyo and orienting ourselves with the city so we booked the tour in day one of our holiday. Travelling with a 10 year old and 5 year old our tour was focussed on the Pokémon centre and animal cafes. Hiroko arranged a perfect day which blended education for the adults on the train network even helping us book our Shinkansen tickets to Kyoto and weaving in the Pokémon centre and Animal Cafes on Takeshita street! My eldest son has a nut allergy and Hiroko even sent me a script in Japanese that I can show to restaurants to help us ensure his food has no nuts! Absolutely recommend this customisable tour! Communication was perfect and Hiroko was a gem!

Milan Private Tour: Highlights & Hidden Gems with a Local

Silvia was a special guide. She made a great itinerary for a two hour tour based on things we wanted to see and do. She was very clear with communication and directions on how to meet her from our hotel. As soon as we met her, it felt like we were meeting up/visiting with a friend. At the end of the tour, she walked us to our tram stop so we could head to a cooking class. When it looked like we would be late due to a delayed tram, she called the restaurant to notify them that we would be late. Additionally, as she was familiar with Como, she found us a parking garage near our upcoming boat tour. Thankful she went above and beyond to help us feel comfortable our first day in the city. Thanks for a fabulous time!

Eat Like A Local In Kanazawa

We greatly enjoyed our food tour in Kanazawa with Iku. She communicated with us frequently prior to the tour, and went above & beyond with extras like printing our hotels shuttle schedule for the train station. She is a Kanazawa native and was able to share extensive cultural and historical insights about Kanazawa. We had specific requests for areas we wanted to explore and she made sure we got to those areas. The food selections weren’t always to our liking, but that is to be expected. At each stop we had choices about what to try and some were tastier than others. She also took many pictures of us which she shared via What’s App and we really appreciated.
