She was in tune with what we wanted, really friendly and helpful. We are really, really happy with our experience. We were taken to lots of places we would have never found by ourselves. We are very grateful.
Show moreWonderful night out with Maria in Osaka. Our guide for in touch with us in advance, so we could let her know about our expectations and what we'd like to see. Maria arranged everything perfectly, showed us all special places in Namba and Dotombori and suggested tasty street food. She also planned for tickets in advance and she made me fall in love with Osaka. I was with a Japanese friend and she also loved the tour. I highly recommend the tour and Maria.
Show moreSo glad that Haruhi was my guide on my first trip to Osaka. Although I selected a shopping tour around Osaka. We did way more than just shopping. We went to places that only a local would know like trendy shopping streets , lesser known shopping centres and cool cafes. Haruhi also had great vibes, there was never a dull moment during the tour as we chatted about everything under the sun and learn about each other's culture. I never felt that i had hired a guide but a personal friend was bringing me around. Also not forgetting to mention that her recommendation for food is phenomenal. I especially love the Okonomiyaki store that she recommended. I had tasted a couple of Okonomiyakis but none is as good as this one. So, you want to know which store is it? Show moreWe feel so fortunate that we had Aki as our guide in Osaka. The day with her was the highlight of our two weeks in Japan. We had a local guide in each major city and Aki is absolutely the best guide you could ask for. First she prepared the most amazing itinerary based on our preferences. When we met Aki we immediately hit it off because she is open, intuitive, and fun. She makes friends easily and helped us do the same! Because of Aki we met many people we wouldn’t have otherwise been able to talk with (she would initiate conversations and translate for us). For example, we helped a shop owner with her English signs for customers, got free octopus to try, learned all about Japanese chef knives and purchased a great one, had a personal meal with local chef, and went bar hopping to izakayas where there was absolutely no English. Beyond our scheduled time with her she was a great friend - helping us see and do amazing things for the rest of our trip. It is because of Aki that Osaka was our favorite of the five Cities we visited. If you’re in Osaka, make sure you start your visit with a day with Aki!
