Our guide, Antoine, was very good about communicating a head of time and taking our preferences into account. We were able to see a great mix of popular spot in the city and hidden nooks. He was also very friendly and made the tour quite comfortable. Sometimes people who work in tourism can be overly professional to the point where activities can feel impersonal and stiff, but our experience was very laid back while still being respectful and professional. Overall a fantastic afternoon in Osaka. If, like us, you have a limited time in Osaka, this tour is perfect for maximizing your time in the city.

Fumiko is terrific. Fed us till we were stuffed. Included a city tour. Even helped us get onto a train so we could get back to Kyoto without messing up. Speaks English beautifully. Fun, funny, a true delight.

Maria was an excellent guide! We started in Dontonburi and ended in Shimbashi. She showed us a few hidden alleyways, took us to tasty areas, and told us some history along the way. Unfortunately, I was feeling under the weather so just my spouse finished the tour, and he said the takoyaki was phenomenal. We brought a friend with us who is studying in Osaka and he said he’ll need to return to some of the areas she brought us.
