Hi, I’m Natsuko

I’ve lived in Kanazawa for 58 years

I speak English, Japanese

I am Professional Kanazawa City Guide & Cultural Specialist

I was born and raised in Kanazawa, so I know this city like the back of my hand. What I love most about living here is its sense of beauty — a thoughtful blend of traditional and contemporary that feels quietly sophisticated. I absolutely adore Kenrokuen and the many Japanese gardens around the city, which transform beautifully with each season. From cherry blossoms in spring to deep crimson leaves in autumn, Kanazawa never stops inspiring me. Food is another great passion of mine. The local cuisine here is truly out of this world, from time-honored traditions to chefs who are creatively pushing boundaries. There are very few restaurants I haven’t tried, whether Japanese, kaiseki, Italian, or French. I also love exploring areas like Higashichaya, Kazuemachi, Nagamachi, Omicho Market, and Nishichaya. If you’re looking for hidden gems or a truly local experience, I’d be delighted to share Kanazawa with you.
