I’m Yuzuki, a proud local of Kanazawa who fell in love with the city’s perfect balance, not too rural, not too urban, and filled with history that makes every day feel special. My favorite place is Kenrokuen Garden, where the changing seasons never fail to amaze me. I’m also passionate about our food - from fresh local fish and oden to matcha and traditional sweets, everything here tastes incredible. I often stroll through the samurai district in Naga-machi on my way to work at the bar and enjoy the lively spirit of festivals around the city. I’m still learning and growing as a host, but I truly love Kanazawa and enjoy connecting with people to share the charm of places like Kenrokuen and the Kazuemachi Chaya District.

Yuzuki is a fabulous guide. He found out beforehand our interests and what sights we had already seen in Kanazawa and planned our tour accordingly. We visited the Higashi Chayamachi District but on the way Yuzuki introduced us to some delightful hidden gems away from the crowds. We enjoyed learning about the area as well as other aspects of Japanese culture. Yuzuki is very knowledgeable and his command of the English is excellent.

Yuzuki was a highly knowledgable guide, not just with Kanazawa, but also with Japans history overall. He was able to show me places Off of the beaten path, that I would never have found on my own! I will book again the next time I am back in Kanazawa!

Tom is a treasure in every way. His in depth knowledge of history both local and historical was a condensed course of study. His kindness and generosity was appreciated by our boys and us. This was a great way to explore Hong Kong as a first time visitor. Dennis has great knowledge of the city, not just the main features but some more out of the way places. We were able to share insights into history, architecture, politics and Dennis's speciality - food. I certainly got to see and understand HK far better than I would have done on my own. Not only that, but Dennis kept in contact following the tour with helpful hints for travel, destinations, etc. One word of advice for potential clients: this is a walking tour and everywhere is uphill! We covered some 10 miles in the 8 hours we had together - you need to have stamina and decent walking shoes. Once you understand that, you will have a great tour of the city.
