I did an enjoyable afternoon/ evening walking tour of Kanazawa. My tour guide, Harumi, did an excellent job. She was enthusiastic, helpful and friendly. The tour was the right mixture of cultural and historical locations, and also introduced me to bars and restaurants which were away from touristy areas, that I would never have otherwise experienced. She also gave me the confidence to catch one of the local busses in Kanazawa which did not accept Suica card, and which required both collecting a ticket upon entry and having the exact fare in coins on exit, whilst juggling bags and umbrellas.

I accompanied my husband on a business trip to Kanazawa and decided to book a half-day private tour. Having lived in Tokyo for 6 years and recently moved, I already had a good understanding of Japan and its culture. During the tour, Harumi guided me through Kanazawa Castle Park, the geisha district in Higashi Chaya, and the samurai district. Her engaging and knowledgeable demeanor made the experience truly memorable. She provided insightful information about the history, significance, and intricate details of each location we visited. Without a doubt, it was the highlight of my time in Kanazawa. I highly recommend Harumi and her tour services to anyone visiting the city.

Mo planned an interesting journey through hidden pathways and gardens of Kanazawa. Adjusting easily to my interests, we had a day contemplating beautiful trees and interesting architecture. I am sure he could take anyone on great photography rambles, the historical highlights of this wonderful city or its night life. I appreciated the pace of our day and his good company.
