Marisol gave us 3 1/2 hours of education…history, architecture , art, culture. Had us meet her in the historic district, thus avoiding wasting valuable time in transit. Finished off with a street taco experience.

Our guide Roberto was fantastic from start to finish. He met us right at our hotel in Polanco, making everything easy and stress-free, and we took an Uber together to Centro. From the very beginning, he took the time to understand our interests—architecture, history, culture, and dining—and tailored the experience perfectly around them. Roberto’s enthusiasm was contagious, and his deep knowledge brought Mexico City’s past and present vividly to life. He pointed out architectural details we never would have noticed on our own, shared historical context in an engaging and accessible way, and offered thoughtful insights into local culture along the way. He was also incredibly attentive to details, ensuring the pace was comfortable and that all of our questions were answered. The tour felt personal, well-organized, and genuinely enriching. We couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to the city.

This walking tour exceeded our expectations thanks to Roberto. He is incredibly friendly, attentive, and an excellent storyteller. Touring our neighborhood with him on Christmas Eve felt intimate and meaningful, not touristy at all. He was very considerate of us and made sure everyone felt comfortable. One of the highlights of our trip—would absolutely recommend.

Try to schedule this walking tour when you first arrive at Mexico City . It gives you overview of the city and our tour guide, Ernesto was excellent and had profound knowledge of history and the city.

Ernesto was so good and very informative. We saw so much in our 3 hour tour. After we were done, he help us find a restaurant for lunch and went up to make sure we had a great table!! Great way to see the sights to know where you want to come back and visit.

Lando was great - we had a great historical walk around Roma and Condessa with a variety of interesting foods along the way!

Lando was absolutely incredible! He truly brought the history of the ancient city alive. He went above and beyond to ensure we were engaged and learning while having a great time. He volunteered to take SO many pictures and videos, which are all really special to look back on. Sometimes it’s tough to get pictures of the two of you when traveling as a couple, so it was very considerate of Lando to make sure we had all we could want. He ended up recommending a taco place that was one of our favorites of the trip, and picked us up and dropped us off exactly where needed. His knowledge is off the charts and really filled in the gaps. Teotihuacan is a place where you really need a guide to get the most value, and Lando delivered and then some. Thank you!!

A must do for an overview of Mexico City. We took the tour the first day of our 7 day stay .our guide Oscar was knowledgeable and the pace perfect.

Oskar was wonderful! His knowledge and love of his city really shows. We had a great time walking around and seeing the locals side of Mexico City.

Oscar is a historian and could tell us all about the architecture and history of the region, plus the history of the war monuments.

Nicolas was very knowledgeable and provided very interesting details of historical Mexico City.

From the moment I met Ninelth it has been exceptional. From the notes before we met, to the personalized tour to the understanding that is was only 1 not two but from our beginning I learned so much about Mexico City and Mexico that I found myself teaching others as I moved through the city. I consider this one of my best tours ever taken in the world.

We had a wonderful time on this custom private tour with our guide Ninelth. Her passion for history was evident from the start, and we really enjoyed exploring the sights with someone so knowledgeable. Ninelth even took photos of us along the way, which was a thoughtful touch and very helpful. One small suggestion for improvement would be to include a built-in snack or hot chocolate stop. We went to a delicious hot chocolate place on our own and enjoyed it, and it would be nice to have that included so guests do not have to worry about paying extra. I would have been happy to pay a little extra for the ticket if it includes that. Overall it was a great experience, and we highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting a personal and informative look at Mexico City.

The Centro area of Mexico City is overwhelming and packed with history. Having Claudia walk around with us and point out significant sights was very informative and enjoyable.

We had a great time on our walking tour with Claudia. She personalized the tour of Roma and Condessa, and gave us great insights into the neighborhoods as only a “local” can do! We have followed many of her suggestions for restaurants and cafes , etc, with our remaining time in Mexico City and been very pleased!

Our tour and experiences with Claudia were more than we expected and imagined. She is extremely knowledgeable and patiently accommodated all our needs and requests. This was our favorite tour in Mexico City! Isaac was an amazing tour guide who took his time with us and made the experience so special. He took us to some amazing taco spots and a dessert place. He knew the Roma Norte neighborhood well and even took us to a park and gave history lesson. Isaac started as a guide and left as a new friend.

The local tour with a guide was the highlight of my business trip! My second visit to Mexico City was for a conference and I def needed a break from the hotel. My first time hiring a private guide was definitely worth the experience! Isaac took me to some hidden gems that I would never have seen wandering on my own. He knew my interest was in architecture, history and food -- but not in that order!! Highlights were an amazing lunch in Roma North and a wander through the Condesa neighborhood! If I had a dog and could work remotely from there I would!

My wife and I had a great tour with Isaac! It was our first time in Mexico City and we wanted to learn about the local neighborhoods and also eat great tacos. I loved getting to know Mexico City from a local like Isaac, who is incredibly knowledgeable about the history, culture, and food scene. Isaac was kind and very informative during our tour. He met us at our lodging and took us to some of the best taco spots in the area (some of which we ended up going back to even after our tour was over). It was a great experience overall and I highly recommend taking this tour, especially with Isaac as a tour guide!

Great walk around the town. Isaak offers a ton of knowledge of the subject, especially art and architecture. He is highly educated in the topic and shared with us his love of the City.

The pre-tour questionnaire is a great idea and Alex was a perfect match. The Roma & Condesa tour was an excellent introduction to the neighborhood we stayed during our first trip to Mexico City. Alex was friendly, knowledgable, easygoing, and very patient and kind with our young son. He provided us with lots of great restaurant/shopping recommendations as well as nearby kid friendly activities. This tour was exactly what we were looking for and I can’t recommend it enough.

Our host Alex was very friendly and checked in with us ahead of time to make sure he understood what we were interested in seeing and made those things happen! He was also very agile in adapting to add little things along the way as the conversation led us to things we didn't know we wanted to see or do.

Nico made the experience a really good one. He knows the city, the history and he is really a pleasant guide. We learned a lot about Mexico and we visited key hotspots.

What made the experience special was having such a knowledgeable guide who really knew Mexico City and Xochimilco inside and out. It made a huge difference to have someone who could easily navigate between locations, share the history and culture of both areas, and even introduce us to trusted local contacts, like our boat operator. I also appreciated learning useful local phrases so we could interact with people ourselves. The guide gave us great tips on where to get the best photos and experience the city’s nightlife. Overall, it was an amazing, well-rounded experience.

For our first visit to Mexico City, we were looking for a walking tour to give us an orientation to the city on our first day. Nico was our tour guide and he delivered! He met us near our hotel in Reforma and we explored the Centro Historica. He is super positive, friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed spending the day with him and learned so much in a short period of time. He gave us just the right amount of information about history and culture without overwhelming us as he showed us around so many key sights and took us to a few locals places to grab a snack and lunch. Highly recommend! Suggest 4-5 hours as there is a lot to cover so you can go at a relaxed pace and have time to stop for a snack and grab a bite to eat.

Alejandro was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about Mexico City. We began with the history of the city, beginning at ground zero (where the historical, pre-Colombian) beginnings of the city origins. We visited an archeological museum, then Alejandro, went the extra mile to review additional archeological findings around town. Next, we walked through the colonial historical neighborhoods, and markets, all the while getting more architectual knowledge along the way. Alejandro was especially effective in connecting the historial city to its evolution into the modern city we see today, including the historical persons involved. Extremely thorough and comprehensive, I am so much smarter now, then I was this morning, before I went on the tour with Alejandro. Bring comfortable walking shoes - you'll get plenty of steps in!

Alejandro was an amazing tour guide and explained the history of Mexico and how Mexico City developed into the city that we visit today. Would 100 per cent recommend him!

Alejandro was friendly, knowledgeable and and a wonderful first exposure to Mexico City! He helped to ensure that everything we wanted to see was accommodated, even some very off the beaten path requests.

It’s a great way to get a quick overview of the history, politics, architecture, commercial and arts aspects of the city. We had Yavari, who was extremely knowledgeable and lovely.

Yaravi, was excellent. As first time visitors to Mexico City we wanted to enjoy street food. Yara took us to a local restaurant. It was great.

Yara was an informative, kind, and overall excellent tour guide. She took us around Condesa and Roma Norte on the evening of our arrival in Mexico City. We were staying in Condesa and wanted to get familiar with our surrounding neighborhood. She did that perfectly. She showed us the major streets, the major parks and landmarks, and a bunch of the restaurants we had reservations at over the course of our trip. She also gave us the history of the neighborhood within the long history of Mexico City and showed as some must-see spots that my wife and I had not found in our own research. Overall, it was a great way to start our trip.
