We had a wonderful day with Akari. She was such a great guide. So friendly, knowledgeable and she adapted the tour to exactly what we wanted. We leant so much about the history and culture of Kanazawa. Would definitely recommend this tour esp if you are lucky enough to get Akari!

Our tour guide Yuri was fabulous ! She went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and was extremely flexible putting together the perfect itinerary for us. She’s extremely knowledgeable having grown up in Nagasaki and was an absolute pleasure to spend the day with. I highly recommend!!

Maria was an absolute joy to be with in exploring Osaka!! She gave us great information on the history and cultural traditions. Our lunch was fun and delicious. We would definitely recommend Maria for this private tour.

Mike was awesome. Explained the history of Fukuoka and it’s fascinating traditions. Would have not been able to appreciate the city nearly as much without taking this tour.

We really enjoyed our afternoon exploring Fukuoka with Ai. Before the tour, she asked about our interests and preferences and put together an itinerary just for us. She mentioned that her tours are often different depending on her guests, and we appreciated that personal approach. Throughout the tour, Ai shared interesting stories and insights about Japanese culture. At Gokoku Shrine, she explained the tradition of bringing girls at ages 3 and 7 and boys at age 5 to the shrine. We even saw a young boy dressed for the occasion having professional photos taken. It was a nice local touch that we might otherwise have missed. We also appreciated the extra effort Ai put into our visit. She gave us a guidebook and additional information, then followed up with a photo album and restaurant recommendations that considered our different food preferences. Ai was friendly, knowledgeable, and thoughtful. We would happily recommend her to anyone visiting Fukuoka!

Miki showed us Nagasaki’s highlights in a personalized way, enthousiastic, well informed and well prepared. Miki showed us places we would not have found ourselves, including a perfect coffe stop in the morning and lunch in the afternoon. We had a wonderful day together!

Yukari was so sweet and knowledgeable. We enjoyed the history and the beautiful Kenroku-en garden with all the various trees, waterfalls and canals! Fortunately the rain held off for a great day!

Yuzuki was a wonderful guide. We loved how he showed us his town with passion, including hidden places that we would have never found. We can only recommend a walking tour with Yuzuki.
