What you’ll do

However long your ship is docking for, your local insider will help you make the most of your time. From discovering ancient temples like  Sensō-ji to exploring the explosion of pop culture, cosplayers, and wacky-themed cafes in futuristic Harajuku, your host will give you a taste of Tokyo’s intoxicating contrasts.

To see as much as possible - you could head up Tokyo Skytree, or even better, the observation deck of the Tokyo Government Building, before whizzing back down to ground level and exploring a neighborhood you spotted from above. Experience unique aspects of Tokyo’s culture, like slurping ramen in a private booth, shopping in mammoth electronics stores, and cheering ‘kanpai’ with your host over sake in a retro izakaya!

    As cruise ship passengers, we only had one day to explore Singapore. Our guide, Shake, was very kind and fun, and he helped to make the most of our limited time. We really enjoyed spending the day with him, and learning about Singapore. Before the tour, Shake took the time to understand the types of things that interested us. Then. he was flexible with "on the fly" suggestions (all spot on) during the tour. We only wish we had more time!
