This tour was the BEST way for us to try Venice’s Cicchetti culture. I have a food allergy and my husband hates the taste of vinegar, so the first time we were in Venice together we could not go into any of the wonderful, small places where we could not be perfectly sure we understood what we were choosing. Our guide, Bennedetta, was WONDERFUL, being careful of our specific needs, explaining all the options to choose from every place we stopped, and giving us very interesting information about the traditions behind what we were eating and Venice’s food history. Loved it.
