Must-see Venice in a day with local twist

Our 4 day visit to Venice was organised by Andrea, Travelcouncellors and it was superb, but was especially memorable by Maria, your guide . Maria arrived promptly at our hotel, listened to what we wanted to see , which was not the tourist areas and we had a very informed and cheerful 2 hours learning about the history and development of the often unseen parts of the city . Maria guided us to St Mark's square , Rialto bridge etc and suggested ways in which we could see these in detail after she had finished. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Mary was very attentive to the things that we wanted to see. It rained during our entire tour, and although she apologized, there’s absolutely nothing she could’ve done about the rain. Ideally, we would’ve loved a sunny day, but Mary took us into some buildings to get warm order coffee and tell us more about the City. She made it a very memorable experience for us.

We had a great morning with Maria. We scripted together an itinerary that met our mobility limitations and was fun and informative. Maria is very competent and professional and we learned a lot and enjoyed our time with her. Highly recommend.

We had a lovely tour with Benedetta -- she took our requests seriously and put together a tour that perfectly aligned with our preferences. She obviously knows Venice well, having grown up here. She also struck the right balance of giving us lots of interesting information but not overwhelming us with commentary. We would recommend her highly.

The knowledge and preparation by Fortunato. He provided a lot of of the history that we wanted to know about. He was a very personable and enjoyable to hang out with.

My husband uses a motorized wheelchair, and I was having some back issues, causing me to stop and rest frequently. Eduardo was patient and accommodating, and adjusted our itinerary as needed. We were still able to see the sights we wanted and many local areas that we would never have known about. He chose a great lunch site, knew just where to get gelato, helped us get a gondola at the end of our tour, and in general went out of his way to make to make our day special in every way. He exceeded all of our expectations, and we were tired and happy at the end of the day! Thank you!
