It was a walking tour of Barcelona’s Gothic Quarter. The guide, Isabel, had contacted me after I booked in August to ask my interests and make some suggestions about an itinerary. I’ve had several private tours in Europe and this is the first with any kind of advance prep. I really appreciate that! Isabel showed me historical sites along with other points of interest, giving me the background of things every step of the way. She was friendly, responsive to questions and knowledgeable about the places and things she was showing me. It was an enriching experience and I had the opportunity to see several areas of Barcelona I wouldn’t have otherwise seen. I recommend this experience and commend Isabel for her knowledge and skill as a guide.

Isabelle was a knowledgeable and kind during our entire tour. She really listened to what we wanted to see in Barcelona. She stopped in cute shops that were historic and even explained to us about some of the food and candy. We really enjoyed our tour.

She included major attractions, but also included cultural and historical information we found very interesting to learn. She kept a good walking pace, not too slow or fast.
