I’m a graphic designer from Mexico who loves architecture. I’ve lived in Spain for almost four years, three of them in Barcelona and one in Madrid. I love these cities and I really enjoy helping others fall in love with them too. I like photography, especially urban, landscapes, and architecture. In my free time I go to art exhibitions (photography and contemporary art). I like EDM and my favourite DJ's are Martin Garrix and KYGO. Usually I read every night: romantic novels are the best ones. Every time a friend visits me in the city, I show around in the best way by exploring the culture, history, and food on foot. That’s what I do when I travel and I know this is the most lovely, amazing way to visit any city like a true local.

I booked this tour the night before and I appreciated how responsive and quick City Unscripted was. They sent me a questionnaire which I filled as soon as I could and they assigned me to Isabel, who couldn’t be a better match for me. Isabel was really helpful and very well knowledgeable of Barcelona. I love how flexible she was on my requests, specially when it came to eating churros even if it was already over the 8 hours mark of our tour. She patiently showed me the hidden gems of Barcelona, that you cannot see unless you do a walking tour with someone who knows Barcelona. We walked over 10 miles that day, that’s how much we saw. My preference was to walk rather than taking the metro, but just know that that’s also an option. In the end, I was both exhausted and very well educated about Barcelona, and that thanks to Isabel.
