Tapas, golden hour at the Temple of Debod and a palace with over 3,000 bedrooms.
Here’s everything you need to know before your day unfolds.
Get oriented in Madrid without the worry and wonderings of having to plan an entire itinerary on your own - we’re exhausted just thinking about it. Instead, you’ll leave your comfort zone in total comfort as one of our local Madrid hosts introduces you to their city.
Discover hidden gems and world-famous landmarks, avoid all of the tourist traps and learn the best ways to move and shake your way through the city (although we will say that walking is always a blast here - so much to see, and there’s always tapas bars and churros shops to stop at when you need a rest).
Get a snapshot of this golden metropolis (coincidentally, you can really take a snapshot of the city at its golden hour from the Temple of Debod) and ask any of the 101 questions we know you’ve got about what to do in the city.
You could explore iconic museums, contemporary art galleries or get lost in a royal palace where there are over 3,000 bedrooms (bit much, we know) or just unwind over some tapas and pick your host’s brain, it’s all up to you!

Show morePatricia was so great at orienting us to the city! Every food recommendation she made was incredible, and it was the best food we had across 5 cities. So informative, saw so many cool places, and felt secure navigating Madrid after that first day!
Show morePatricia was great! Very personable and knowledgeable.
Show moreLisa was knowledgeable, super friendly and accommodating for our tour. Physical health issues required on-the-spot flexibility and she was wonderful about it. We enjoyed our visit to Madrid much more because of her tour and friendly advice.
Show morePatricia Patricia is a fabulous guide. She made a point of getting in touch with us ahead of time and making it easier for us to connect. She actually came to our hotel to pick us up. She was enthusiastic and cheerful and informative and full of life. We adored her and learned so much and talked about so many different topics. And we not only learned history about Spain, but we shared cultures which is why we love to travel. She also showed us good places to eat or places to avoid. We ended up eating at two of her recommendations and they were outstanding. We couldn’t have asked for more in a guide. We would love for her to come visit us. That’s how much we liked herAnd by the way for English speakers, she is an English teacher, and she speaks beautifully.
