Hi there, I'm Leon, your friendly local host here in Tokyo. What I love most about Tokyo is Disney; it's my favorite spot, but I also can't get enough of the Akihabara game shops – they're a paradise for any gaming enthusiast! I'm passionate about the rich culture and efficient transport system of Tokyo, and nothing brings me more joy than sharing my knowledge with my guests. Whether we're exploring Ikebukuro, Shinjuku, Harajuku, Shibuya, Bunkyo, Chiyoda, Ginza, Akihabara, Ueno, Asakusa, Sumida, or Odaiba, I know these neighborhoods like the back of my hand. As a Tokyo guru, I specialize in shopping, Otaku culture, kawaii fashion, retro gaming, card gaming, and more. I'll introduce you to all the cool neighborhoods and teach you everything you need to know about the city. Let's make your Tokyo adventure unforgettable! See you soon.

My reviews

Leo listened to my teen son and interacted interesting. He had things planned for both of my children. It was a nice experience.

Leonardo was wonderful. We were a group of 15 and really needed someone who could accommodate all of us together. Leo made our day very special. He knew so much about Tokyo and gave us tons of information about the places he took us to. We were lucky to have e such a good guide!!

Leon was an excellent host - very warm and welcoming and hugely engaging. He very much tailored the tour to things we had asked about but also included aspects he thought we might appreciate - and was very patient when we went off piste! I did wonder what it would be like being with one guide for eight hours but it flew by. Thoroughly recommended!

It's hard to find things in Tokyo to do with a wheelchair. My mom is 84 and unable to walk at all so travelling together I can't even get her into most smaller shops in Tokyo as it is normal to have a step at rhe door. Having Leon able to plan ahead to the areas he knows to avoid these problems is great. we also hadnt been sure about using the subway but with him to explain how to ask for a ramp to be brought and which lifts are working and where disabled toilets are available made it workable. He even took over most of the pushing for me which in 39 degree heat was a fantastic break. We did a 4 hour walk which took us from a temple which he explained the customs we had been unaware of and history, to the scramble, to a neighbourhood where I could get a couple of items I wanted, to the subway, to a festival a long way out on that subway which was really fun and a great outdoor crafts and food market . It was our last day in Tokyo and it filled in all the things we hadn't been able to do ourselves. A bit of local knowledge just puts it all together. We did the red bus for a day, then the fish markets and a few other things on our own so this filled in what else we felt we wanted to see but didn't want to spend a day in that heat lost or stuck in the subway teting to do on our own. Leon was fun and knew lots of little snippets as well as the big tourist stuff which kept mom entertained while I ran n up and down stairs in places taking photos. He takes a good photo himself so since we were travelling just the 2 of us we got some good photos together. We did the tour just the 2 of us so we wouldn't hold up other people or have to try to go places too difficult to navigate and that worked out well . All tours in Tokyo are expensive, but this probably gave us our best value over our stay and I would recommend for people with limited mobility to do this for at least one of their days. We didn't have a clear plan where we wanted to go and left it to Leon, but you can plan your itinerary on line with him beforehand. We just gave him an idea of what we liked to see and he did well. If you manage to get Leon as your guide you will have a really good day out. He's well suited to the job, a good bouncy and fun personality and the 4 hours flew by.
