Half a day in Nagasaki

Our tour guide Yuri was fabulous ! She went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and was extremely flexible putting together the perfect itinerary for us. She’s extremely knowledgeable having grown up in Nagasaki and was an absolute pleasure to spend the day with. I highly recommend!!

We chose our local guide. He was excellent. His correspondence before actually meeting was clear and very reassuring. He freely passed on local knowledge and his experience growing up in Japan. Very good experience.

Gabby was a fantastic tour guide. She stepped in at the last moment when the previous tour guide got sick and provided the excellent tour that we expected. She met us at our cruise ship terminal and provided us with excellent information on the tour locations throughout the tour.

I had an excellent tour with Miki, who took care to find out what I would be interested in seeing. We visited the Atomic Bomb Museum and the Peace Park, before traveling back in time to see older parts of the city. My tour also included going to a local restaurant for lunch which gave me the opportunity to try food I wouldn't have discovered on my own. Miki is an excellent guide and I would highly recommend her, and City Unscripted, for a tour in Nagasaki.

The guide fully understood the nuances of our elderly group

Our host for our Nagasaki tour was Miki, she was great. Prior to our tour she communicated often with us in preparation for our tour. She helped us use the bus to get around town. We espcially liked visiting the Atomic Bomb gardens and museum, although very sobering. We had an instant connection with Miki as we are from Washington State and Miki had attended the University of Washington. We will be returning to Nagasaki in two weeks and Miki provided us a list of additional things we could see and do on our return. It was a great day for us and the rain even held off for us. We highlt reconmend this tour and hope you get Miki as your tour guide.
