We were looking for a mindless way to see some of the highlights of Kyoto with a guide who can talk through what all we're looking at / experiencing. Fortunately, we had Alvin as our guide. Not only is Alvin knowledgeable of the Kyoto area and history, but he's a fun conversationalist and made the day relaxing for us even though we got close to 20k steps in! I enjoyed being able to pick what all spots we hit and it was very organized. A Bonus was that Alvin is an foodie! He took us to his favorite local Ramen spot after I mentioned I also like spicy food. We got the spicy ramen and I was very happy. Also hit up a couple of his recommendations in Osaka that he shared and he hit it on the nail again!

This was a fantastic experience. So much history and culture to experience by visiting all the different temples and shrines. We were able to cover so much ground within 8 hours. The experience was enhanced by our guide Alvin. He was knowledgeable and accommodating. I highly recommend this tour.

Our five hour trip was interesting and informative. We came away from it feeling that we had seen the essence of Kyoto and in a very short time had a much better understanding of this lovely city. Our guide, Alvin, was excellent.
