I am a middle-aged Japanese person who loves Kyoto and lives in Gion, Kyoto. I had lived in Tokyo for a long time and moved here because I love the culture and history of Kyoto. I particularly have good knowledge of Japanese sake and have visited many sake breweries in Fushimi, Kyoto. Having had the good experience of holding many times of sake tasting events with the chief brewer of the brewery. Let's enjoy Kyoto's best sake and Japanese cuisine at a hidden traditional townhouse in the backstreet Kyoto. Furthermore, not only visiting traditional shrines and gardens, but visitors could also shop for real antiques such as Japanese prints, crafts, and more at a reasonable price with my negotiation support. Enhance your Kyoto stay and do NOT waste time!!!

My reviews

We are a family of 7; 5 of us are over 60 & 2 are under 60. He always checked to make sure we are all accounted for because we were all walking at a different pace. He made well use of the 7 hours that we spent with him. He recommended the best tempura place where we had lunch. He led us to places where it’s less crowded. We would like to recommend him to anyone looking for a wonderful day in Kyoto. Oh he also took us to the shopping center where On sneakers were sold. This is the only place in Kyoto where On sneakers are available. Thank you so much Masaya.

My daughter and I had a lovely day yesterday with Masaya. He had organized a perfect itinerary for what we wanted to do and see - it was the perfect balance of seeing some of the "must see" tourist destinations, but also showing us more of the traditional parts of Kyoto. Always willing to stop for us to look around at a shop or two along the way. Thank you very much, Masaya! We visited Sang Sanger Do this morning at your suggestion and were both so glad to have seen it. Thanks again for a lovely tour!

I just wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt thanks for the amazing tour of Kyoto. Your knowledge and passion for Kyoto's culture and history were truly remarkable. I enjoyed every bit of information you shared with me during the tour. The way you presented the details made the tour not only informative but also engaging and interactive. The highlight of the tour was the captivating Geisha dance performance. It was a dream come true to witness such a traditional and enchanting art form in person. Mahalo again for your dedication and for going above and beyond to make sure I experienced the best of Kyoto.
