Hello, I am Nisa. I am a PhD student at Kyoto University, majoring in Education. While living in Kyoto, I have had various experiences working as an English teacher and English-speaking tour guide. I've deeply admired Kyoto due to its tranquil ambiance, cleanliness, and rich historical sites. Previously, I studied Landscape Architecture, so I know well about Japanese Zen gardens and temples. During my free time, I delight in exploring Kyoto's hidden gems, ranging from unique temples to cozy coffee shops. Nisa brought us to all of the hidden gems of Kyoto, including a local festival where you walk through the river. She was great at budgeting time, and helped us to get everything we wanted done. She knows a ton about history and the temples/shrines that she brought us to. It was fantastic!

Loved Nisa! She was such a great guide. Really brought the sites to life by providing so much historical context. We were able to see so much in five hours that we never would’ve seen on our own. She was also so accommodating to our various needs for snacks and shopping trips while still keeping us on schedule. She also did a great job of engaging with our kid and holding their interest. Would highly recommend Nisa and her tour. And while 5 hours may seem like a lot it really flew by!
