Hi! My name is Ada, I specialized in Japanese culture & came in 2013 to finish my studies, but I felt in love with the country so much that I decided to prolong my stay indefinitely. I just want to share my passion & the beauty that I see, and give back to society what it was given to me when I first arrived. I always wanted to become a tour guide, so I studied tourism in Spain. I have been working in the tourism industry till covid times arrived, when I shift to Kyoto University where I have been assisting international students and in my spare time organizing activities and trips for them to immerse in the culture. The walking tour with Ada was great. She customized it to my likes and wants yet was able to provide additional surprises and amazing facts about history, culture, art and people of Japan. Highly recommend. Best 3 hours I spent in Kyoto.

My husband and I spent three hours touring Kyoto with Ada. Ada was a fantastic storyteller and made the temples come alive with amazing information. She was generous with tips and ideas for our time in Kyoto and gave us great suggestions for places to see. It was a fantastic tour. We wish we would have spent the whole day with Ada.

We spent three hours with Ada. We wished we would have booked time with her for the whole day. Ada knew so much about Japanese History. She made the temples come alive with so much information. She also had a lovely personality and a global perspective. Ada also gave us great suggestions for dinners and cafes and was super generous in general. If we are back in Kyoto in the future, we will definitely reach out again. Thanks Ada for a great afternoon!
