Hi! My name is Ada, I specialized in Japanese culture & came in 2013 to finish my studies, but I felt in love with the country so much that I decided to prolong my stay indefinitely. I just want to share my passion & the beauty that I see, and give back to society what it was given to me when I first arrived. I always wanted to become a tour guide, so I studied tourism in Spain. I have been working in the tourism industry till covid times arrived, when I shift to Kyoto University where I have been assisting international students and in my spare time organizing activities and trips for them to immerse in the culture. Ada is the most knowledgeable guide we had of our many guides in Japan. We learned so much about Japanese history from her; she clearly retains a lot due to her strong passion. Ada made sure to cater the tour to our preferences and walked us all over the East side of Kyoto for the most authentic, yet not crowded experience. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and Ada’s personality. She is a star.

A very well thought out walking tour that made all the differences. Ada was a wonderful guide for us! She knew what tour was appropriate for our abilities and limitations. We got to see some amazing sites while avoiding the massive crowds. We got to see a more intimate part of Kyoto and even got to enjoy the bamboo forest! What made this tour even more special was the fact that she spoke three languages - Spanish, English and Japanese! Which made our group very excited as we spoke English and Spanish. But we were also learning Japanese. Jackpot! When we return we hope she will be our tour guide again to discover other beautiful areas.
