I am a Researcher
I've always loved sharing experiences and knowledge with the people around me. From a young age, I was fascinated by anything and everything and became very passionate about a plethora of subjects, ranging from the most obscure footnotes of video game trivia to the foundations of modern anthropology. With each interest, also came a desire to share what I had learned with friends, family, or anyone willing to indulge me. With time, I also became fairly skilled at communicating the intricacies of my various passions through my academic pursuits. For the better half of a decade, Japan and its cultural tapestry, have been a centerpiece for these passions. After years of studying the language, I moved to Japan in 2019 while pursuing my undergraduate degree in Japanese Language, Culture, and Civilization. Following that rewarding experience, I then earned my master’s degree in Cultural Studies, where I focused specifically on the sub-culture and underground culture of contemporary Japan for my thesis. That said, even with these achievements now under my belt, I still find myself always searching for ways to share the knowledge that I have so carefully collected. This is why a profession like a tour guiding has always come quite naturally to me. It's simply an extension of a passion I've always had, the love of sharing experiences!
