What you’ll do

We’ve carefully crafted this journey to help you really experience the heart and soul of Bangkok as we know it, revealing its hidden gems and cultural highlights. Uncover the rich heritage and vibrant spirit as you embark on your experience with a talented local host.

We’ve decided to start you off with a visit to The Grand Palace, but a fore-warning from us, it’s popular, so this is where your host will be your secret weapon. It is one of Bangkok’s most iconic buildings, and you’ll quickly see why. The Grand Palace features intricate architecture that you’re guaranteed to fall in love with! Take a moment to appreciate the Emerald Buddha, a symbol of spiritual understanding that has fascinated believers for hundreds of years.

Once you’ve experienced all of what the Grand Palace has to offer, you’ll explore the serene grounds of Wat Pho, famously known for its reclining Buddha, which is huge! Get your host to tell you just how big; you won’t believe it! One of our favorite highlights of visiting Wat Pho is the endless new discoveries: hidden alleyways and passages that lead you to new wonders on each turn. It would be easy to spend a lot of time here, but we’re afraid you must move on.

We’re sure by now your tummy is rumbling, which means it's time to savor some traditional Thai cuisine at our favorite restaurant, ‘Pad Thai Kratong Thong.’ Here, you will enjoy a delicious dish of traditional Pad Thai; we highly recommend that you pair this with a coconut. You won’t be disappointed. You know we love a food shot for Insta as well, so snap this impressive dish when it arrives. You’ll want to remember it.

No visit to Bangkok is complete without a ride in a Tuk-Tuk. Hop aboard one of these cute Tuk-Tuks and enjoy a ride with your knowledgeable local host to Wat Arun (your host can get a great shot of you in the tuk-tuk). Here, you can experience some of the most beautiful panoramic views of the Chao Phraya River from the many hidden vantage points your host will show you. There is a lot to talk about from this location, so happy storytelling (or listening)!

Before you finish, you have to try one of our favorite sweet treats here in Bangkok, mango sticky rice pudding. Stop off at ‘Salathip,’ which serves the best sticky rice pudding for mango - as certified by us, but we’re sure you will agree. Enjoy the beautiful riverside dining opportunity that Salathip offers. Trust us; you’ll fall in love with this place just as much as we have! Finish up with your host, wrap the final stories, and hear the last tales. This amazing experience is complete, my friend.

As you end your experience, we hope that our experience made you feel right at home when in Bangkok, experiencing local delicacies, finding hidden vantage points, and more!

Kat took us to places we would have never gone. She even gave us other advice on things to do and buy.

The Legendary Kat was in fact awesome. It was like having a tour with a friend. She went at our pace, set the schedule per our tastes, and adjusted on the fly. We had a great time, and can highly recommend this tour package, and Kat in particular. For transportation and entrance fees, you need to have about B3000 to B4000 for a couple, extra for spending money, and of course tips!

With only a short time in Bangkok, my friends and I decided to book a tour to get the most out of our time. We arranged a walking tour with City Unscripted Bangkok and were paired with a wonderful guide named Pakkard. She showed us her city and culture with enthusiasm and took amazing care of us. We saw so much in a short amount of time and left the experience feeling very fulfilled. We are extremely grateful to our guide, Pakkard, and City Unscripted Bangkok for their service!

Chiara was a fantastic host in Tokyo. We gave her a wish list and she did a great job trying to take us to all the places we wanted to see in the most organized way. We loved Tokyo and she had everything to do with that. We were with her for 2 1/2 days. The half day was marred by the fact that it snowed so the weather made it difficult to see what we wanted to that day. Of course, weather is just something you have to deal with on vacation and we made the best of it.

Kat brought us to all the places we wanted to see while being mindful of the heat and a person in our party with mobility issues. We absolutely loved Bangkok and we credit her with that. She spoke English well too.

We had a walking tour of the main attractions in Bangkok. We started at the flower market , did a trip around the canal , had lunch and finished with the Gran Palace. Our guide, Buay was wonderful. Full of historical knowledge . I also wanted to buy some things and he took me to the store that had exactly what i wanted. Overall a great experience
