HELLO, I’M WAHIDA
I live in outskirts.
I work in all over the city.
I hang out in
Kampong Glam, Little India, Chinatown.
I have a keen interest in and knowledge of various ethnic groups and their culture in Singapore like festivals, food, practices, religion and customs. So you can ask me about the ins and outs of various cultures. Hidden are the stories to be told while exploring the streets of many forefathers. I am a Chindian (mixed parentage of Chinese and Indian) and a Muslim by religion, so I can give a wonderful insight into everything local from heritage, history, cheap and branded shopping, hawker food to restaurants and places of worship. Visiting the local wet markets is one of my favourite pastimes. I enjoy looking for fresh ingredients and getting a good bargain. You could join me on a leisure walk in Fort Canning Park or the Gardens by the Bay. Flower Dome is my favourite as it has seasonal flower exhibitions throughout the year. Some of my favourite spots are Kampong Glam, Little India and Chinatown. There is just so much to love about Singapore!
