Hi, I’m Kiyoto, your local host in Kyoto! I’m passionate about the unique blend of tradition and modernity that defines this beautiful city. From the warm hospitality of Kyoto’s people to the spotless streets, I love how our respect for others and the environment is reflected in everyday life. Exploring new restaurants and cafes, especially those in historic buildings, is one of my favorite activities. I’m also an avid runner, finding peace in the city’s temples and shrines during the early morning or late at night. Whether it’s ramen, sweets, or a scenic running route, I’m here to share the best of Kyoto with you!
An amazing tour and an even better guide! Knowledgeable, friendly, and truly made the experience unforgettable. Highly recommend!

Kiyoto our guide was amazing! Could not have asked for a better fit for our family. This tour made our trip to Kyoto extra special and we would have never been able to see everything we did today without being on this tour with Kiyoto.

Kiyoto lead us on a great walking tour. He met us at our hotel at 10 am we started our tour with a short train ride to the Fushimi Inari Shrine where we explored for a while and got some great pictures. Our next stop was Kiyomizu-dera Temple. From there we trekked through the streets toward the Nishiki Market along way stopping at some interesting shops and points of interest. We finished off the tour by enjoying a ramen lunch with Kiyoto. We really enjoyed our day with Kiyoto who was super friendly and knowledgeable. He also made sure to take plenty of pictures and videos, which he sent to us afterward. Throughout our time with him he was always had interesting tidbits to share in addition to historical facts and cultural information.
