Taiga was a great tour guide! He was very down-to-earth and relatable, which made the whole day that much better! He was very knowledgeable about Japanese history and even provided us with some local folklore, which we will NEVER forget! We were very pleased overall with our experience with Taiga our Kyoto guide for a 5 hour tour. We provided a script as to ideas where to go & he wrapped it into a nice package for us. He was prompt meeting us at our hotel & fun to be with for half of the day. We appreciated him helping us with transportation getting from site to site to his local knowledge. If there was one suggestion to help take this great service to the next level is just more history facts to share from site to site. He certainly had some solid knowledge but we are history buffs & would have appreciated more details/facts on each location. All in all a very positive experience & we'd have no problem working with Tiaga again!

We had an amazing day with Taiga. He is the best tour guide and we would recommend him to anyone who wants to learn about the history, culture, and modern day Kyoto. We walked through the beautiful streets, went to shrines, had lunch at a delicious local Soba noodle restaurant, and went shopping along the way. We were a family of 4 and he made it fun for all of us. Definitely request Taiga for your tours of Kyoto or anywhere you go in Japan.
