Hi! This is MIKI from Kyoto, Japan. My hometown, Uji, is located between Kyoto and Nara and is the most famous place for green tea. So, I can be your local guide of Kyoto and Nara. I’m a national tour guide and the instructor of tea ceremony at table style. I’m so passionate about guiding my country and having a good time with you!

Miki was an amazing guide who gave me lots of background and history on all the sites we checked out. She also had wonderful recommendations on where to eat and even took photos of me as we were walking around for me to have later on. Would totally book with her again!

Miki was SO GREAT at listening to how I wanted our trip to go: focus on cultural aspects, history, being flexible to what we wanted the day of. She was warm, funny, welcoming. She also offered to take pictures of us which was super helpful. She also figured out how to incorporate breaks through our tour since it was so hot outside. Be communicative with your guide up front so they can help cater this tour to your needs, and you'll love it. Travel tip: Bring an UV umbrella to help protect you from the blazing sun. Highly recommend this tour for Kyoto if you want something that fits your pace and travel style.
