Hi, I’m Ami

(8)

I’ve lived in Hiroshima for 9 years

I speak English, Japanese

I am an Okonomiyaki Cooking Studio, English instructor

I love how Hiroshima offers the best of both worlds—breathtaking nature with the sea and mountains nearby, along with a rich cultural scene deeply connected to local life. Whether it's enjoying Kagura performances at shrines in the fall or joining seasonal festivals, I always find something meaningful to experience. I also love Hiroshima’s incredible food culture, from fresh oysters to local sake, and I enjoy sharing hidden spots where you can mingle with locals at standing bars and izakayas. If you're looking for a mix of history, nature, and amazing flavors, I’d love to show you around!

My reviews

Ami is very nice and competent. She was the perfect guide for this day in Hiroshima and especially Miyajima

We did a Hiroshima tour with Ami and she was wonderful! She took us through Peace Memorial Park, Peace Memorial Museum, Gokoku Shrine, and Hiroshima, Castle. She was very tactful and even taught us a lot - even how to make crane origami. Knowing we were foodies, she even gave us local lunch recommendations for us to go to after the tour.

Amy made her best to let us feel confortables and at ease. The program was perfect, first the Peace Park and the the ride to Myajima. We were lucky to find good and almost warm (in December) wheather !
