You could visit the striking symbol of the city, the Atomic Bomb Dome, stroll down the soft sand of the Bayside Beach or explore ancient shrines and temples – from hydrangea-lined Jinguji-temple to Itsukushima. On Miyajima Island, see nature at its most impressive: lush forests, turquoise ocean, and the iconic “floating” torii gate: a shrine that’s partially submerged at high tide.

We are so pleased that Sumire was our guide. We cannot thank her enough. As a family with young adult children, she tailor made all of the stopping points. We chose to have a personal guide on our first day in Japan to also help us settle in and understand about the culture and how to enjoy the most of the country. Sumire exceed our every expectation. Our 19 year old son was talking today about how she showed us the ritual at the shrine and how beautiful it was. Thank you Sumire for making it all so special.
