Hello, I’m Takako, a warm and friendly local host who loves sharing the charm of Fukuoka with visitors from around the world. What fascinates me most about this city is its unique history and culture, which feel so different from other parts of Japan. Fukuoka is truly special, being the gateway to Asia and even closer to Seoul than to Tokyo. I enjoy taking scenic drives to Itoshima and Shikanoshima or relaxing in the peaceful surroundings of Ohori Park. I know Fukuoka inside and out, from Hakata Station to Tenjin, Dazaifu, and Momochi, and I love helping travelers discover what makes this city so wonderful. I know where to find the best local spots, how to enjoy the city on any budget, and how to make every moment in Fukuoka unforgettable.
