Hi, I’m Simone, a friendly and curious local host who loves sharing the many sides of Bologna. I adore exploring the city, from Piazza Maggiore and San Petronio to Santo Stefano, the Jewish Ghetto, the Quadrilatero, the Towers, and the beautiful porticoes leading to San Luca. I also enjoy seeing how Bologna evolves, from new infrastructure to the many events that bring the city to life throughout the year. Food is a big part of what I love to share. I enjoy exploring local markets and introducing visitors to Bologna’s specialties, from ragù, fresh pasta and broth to Parmigiano Reggiano, ham and balsamic vinegar. I know the city centre very well, as well as Casalecchio and Valsamoggia, and I love discovering Bologna in every season, camera in hand!

I'm Nicola, your go-to guide for all things Bologna – a city that sits at the crossroads of Italy and, honestly, at the crossroads of my many passions too! Some say Bologna never sleeps, but I think it just can't get enough of its vibrant music, culture, and, well... pasta. While I pride myself on my profound knowledge of Bologna's rich cultural tapestry and its sumptuous food history, it's the city's bustling social hubs I can't resist! I've got a local's eye for the best spots and an open heart ready to make new friends. So, if you're looking to experience Bologna with a pinch of humor and a dollop of authenticity, let's take a walk and talk!

I'm Lorenza, a local host in the beautiful city of Bologna, Italy. I'm friendly, trustworthy, open-minded, enthusiastic, and positive, and I absolutely love my city! To me, Bologna is the perfect balance between a small, friendly village and a bustling capital, and I'm always excited to share its beauty with others. My favorite things to do in the city include walking under the 40 km portico, discovering new neighborhoods beyond the city walls, and trying new restaurants (the food here is just excellent!). I'm exceptionally knowledgeable about downtown Bologna and Bolognina, and I have a real passion for my city's history and local culture. Whether you're looking for a friendly local host or just someone to chat with about the best places to visit in Bologna, I'm here for you! I can't wait to show you why I love this city so much.
Visit Host ProfileI love sharing my enthusiasm and knowledge to make your experience fun, relaxed, and filled with the best of what Bologna has to offer.
I'm graduated in political science and I'm next to take a license as a tour leader. I'm very passionate in Bologna urban history and I really love every aspect of the city but I also know some great tours in Ravenna area (Riviera Romagnola). In my spare time I love to ride mtb on the beautiful bolognese hills and I'm a really good cooker. I speak fluently English and Spanish.

I am a dynamic person, always looking for new projects and curious about any beautiful, strange and creative things going on in the city. I'm part of an international association that connects expatriates from all over the world with locals (or other expats). I organize events where these expats' learn to live as "bolognese" citizens! Bologna is wonderfully rich in things to do, places to visit and olfactory, visual and gastronomic experiences to try! I can show you the unusual, lesser-known corners of the city, where artists and comedians will entertain you. If you are a lover of history and art, I can take you to the medieval heart of Bologna and show you some hidden treasures. You can't leave the city without a souvenir or two and an authentic Bolognese meal. I recommend MERCATO di mezzo, where you'll find a good choice of Italian Street food, but there are so many other options and I'd be happy to take you to find what's right for you! I am convinced that nothing is as enriching as getting to know different people and different cultures!

I’m Ana, a passionate local host in the beautiful city of Bologna. What I absolutely love about this city is its unique atmosphere—where locals, students, and visitors from all over the world come together in perfect harmony. One of my favorite daily rituals is having breakfast at one of the local cafés. After that, I love walking around the city without a specific destination, just soaking up the rich atmosphere and discovering hidden gems along the way. I know Centro Storico and Bolognina like the back of my hand, and I take great pleasure in sharing my knowledge of the best boulangeries, food markets, and nightlife spots with visitors. Whether you’re here for the food, the culture, or just to wander Bologna’s captivating streets, I’d be thrilled to show you around and help you experience the true heart of this incredible city!
