Lauren was enthusiastic to discover Bologna, enjoy its charm and art. After living for two years in Naples, she already knew a lot about our culture, but she realized how diverse is Northern Italy in comparison to where she lives. That's why she loved the portici, the middle age architecture and wanted to know more about our food.

I have spent an exciting morning with Lorenza in Bologna together with my family. We visited some of the most interesting objectives of the old city, enjoying Lorenza’s stories which only a local can know. If you want to learn about “children of the wheel”, “penguin priests”, “Galvani’s book” or how the portico’s appeared, then do not hesitate to contact Lorenza and she will entertain you with her vast knowledge and great sense of humor!

Elizabeth was excellent and very accommodating to my jet lag. She tailored the tour to our interests and I feel that we got an excellent overview of Bologna.

Giacomo was an exceptional guide. He met us early on a cold January morning with a warm smile and a number of great suggestions for us to see in the three hours we spent together. We enjoyed Giacomo's easy going communication style combined with his incredible knowledge of historical and contemporary Bologna. It was a perspective that made us appreciate and enjoy Bologna even more. We managed to discuss Middle Ages and renaissance history, the formulation of Bologna's university, contemporary People and culture and finished it off with some heated discussion about the Bologna/Fiorentina football match that day. It was a terrific way to learn more about the city.
