Get the full experience of beer, Belgium's national treasure. Explore some of the locals best ‘beer’ spots that I found.
Here’s everything you need to know before your day unfolds.
Get ready to sip your way through the beer capital of the world with an insider's edge! This Brussels beer experience, led by a local host who knows the ins and outs of the city's brews, will take you on a delightful and refreshing journey through some of the finest beer spots Brussels has to offer. I love just chilling and drinking a beer at these places, and I'm sure you'll enjoy it as well. So let's go!
Your first stop is the magnificent Grand Palace, the very heart of Brussels. Here, you'll be introduced to the city's rich beer heritage in the most stunning setting imaginable. The Grand Palace isn't just about breathtaking architecture; it's also where your host will begin to unravel the history of Belgian beer, setting the stage for the flavorful adventure ahead. You'll discover why Belgian beer is world-renowned and maybe even hear some intriguing tales about the brewing traditions that date back centuries.
Next, make your way to the legendary Delirium Café. This is not just a bar; it's a beer lover's paradise. With over 2,000 beers on the menu, Delirium Café holds the Guinness World Record for the most varieties of beer commercially available. Here, your host will help you navigate this overwhelming yet thrilling selection. Whether you're into light lagers, rich stouts, or fruity lambics (which are personally my favorite), there's something here for every palate. Expect to be regaled with stories of local brews and brewing techniques while you sip on some of the finest examples Belgium has to offer. And don't be shy about asking for recommendations—your host has a knack for finding the perfect brew for every taste.
Your final destination is Beer Capital Brussels, a modern beer haven located on Boulevard Anspach. This spot is a perfect blend of contemporary vibes and classic brews. As you step in, you'll be greeted by an impressive selection of craft beers from both local microbreweries and established Belgian brands. Your host will guide you through a curated tasting session, highlighting the unique flavors and brewing processes that make Belgian beers so special. This is the place to deepen your appreciation of the craftsmanship behind each pint. And if you're up for it, you can even try some exclusive, limited-edition brews that you won't find anywhere else - I love finding new favorites every time I'm here.
Throughout the experience, your host will pepper in fascinating anecdotes and insider knowledge, making this more than just a casual bar hop. You'll walk away with a newfound appreciation for Belgian beer, armed with stories and tasting notes to impress your friends back home.
Oh, and if you book this experience on a weekend, there’s a bonus of an additional 3 stops, time permitting. These stops include some of my favorite places to enjoy a pint when in Brussels: Poechenellekelder; BBP Port Sud and Brasserie da la Senne,

Fantastic tour with Senna. Very knowledgeable with the history of the area and all the best spots for food and local beer!
Show morePaola was amazing!!! She was at the train station to welcome me into Brussels and assist me with storing my luggage before we hit the town. She was incredibly knowledgeable and I learned a ton about the history of both Brussels and Belgium as a whole. The city was beautiful and I love that Paola showed me not just the tourist spots but also some hidden gems that she liked to see in the city. She gave me some awesome food suggestions (I had the best mussels right in the city square! Thanks for the rec!) and showed me where to find good souvenirs and also gave me some fun ideas if I plan another trip to Belgium. Thanks again Paola! I had an amazing time!!
