We would 100% highly recommend dragon/ Peining Lung for this Private walking tour. She is friendly, well spoken, very knowledgeable and has a great sense of humour.… We had such a great time she took us on the trains metro & bus around the city and was all ways on hand showing us how to understand the metro lines. Conversations were not only on the sites we visited but also on the culture, different types of foods, and religions If you want to see the very best of Taipei then please don’t hesitate to have Dragon as your tour guide I promise you will have an amazing day and learn so much.

As soon as we met Alice at the MRT Station close to our Hotel, we knew it was going to be a great day. Alice is friendly and easy to talk to. She showed us local spots as well as guiding us through the must see attractions of the city. It was an awesome experience. Breakfast at a local eatery in her neighborhood where we tried new food. Taipei 101, Cheung Hai Shek Memorial, and a bike tour through the city ending with a stroll through Old Street. Do your self a favor and book with Alice. You wont be disappointed.

Our 3-person family group booked a private tour guide, Charlotte, and we were very happy with her. She was with us for half a day. Her English was excellent since she went to college in the U.S. She was friendly and knowledgeable. As requested, she showed us how to use the subway system so we could get around on our own. When we visited C.K.S. Memorial, she explained about current Taiwanese politics and history, which was very interesting. At the Taoist Temple, which was a working temple, she told us what the worshippers were doing and to which gods they were praying. That was fascinating and gave us insight into how religion fits into people's everyday lives. The day before the tour, a family member accidentally left his cell phone in a taxi. We were advised to file a police report, but we didn't know how to do it or whether police officers were conversant in English. So we asked Charlotte to help towards the end of the tour session. She facilitated the process, and with the assistance of outstanding Taiwanese police customer service, we were able to recover the phone. Whew! She went over and above to help with the police. She never complained about going past the time we had originally booked her. Of course, we gave her a generous tip! I have no hesitation in recommending Charlotte. She doesn't just take her clients to places, but she also adds background context to the sights because she's an educated and interesting person.
