We booked last minute and had some tired kids after a week of skiing. Mat showed us around so many sights in an effortless way. He even squeezed in a stop for a local sweet for the kids. Mat was able to answer all of our questions and was very knowledgeable. We learned so much about Munich and Bavaria.
Show moreWe did a 4 hour experience. Make sure you can walk and be on your feet for a while. Would do it again especially with the same guide. Very knowledgeable and geared the experience to our interests. Put guide was Mat.
Show moreMat provided a beautifully customized tour of Munich for us as first time visitors. He took us to city highlights and off the beaten path locations. We learned history, fun facts and so much about the people of Munich and how they compare to other regions of Germany. There was never a dull moment during our six hour walking tour. Mat is a wealth of knowledge - history, culture, political and social topics. He also made the BEST restaurant recommendation for our dinner that night. It was the highlight of our trip.
Show moreHad a 24 hr layover in Munich and glad I booked this tour. It was like having a friend in Munich that is a history and local expert. Was able to walk old town, see the main tourist attractions as well as try some of the food and drink. The church tower was a good start to understand reference points and see the city from higher up. He will tailor the tour to what you want to do, see or experience. He even helped send me back to the airport on the correct train to save some money on a taxi. Would highly recommend.
