One of the things I love about Munich is its unique mix of village charm and big-city vibes. It truly is a "village with a million people and a metropolis with a heart." And when it comes to leisure time, there's nothing I love more than an evening in one of Munich's famous beer gardens. I am also a total expert on the rise of Hitler and the history of the Dachau Memorial site, which is just a little outside the city. And of course, as a true Munich resident, I have a deep appreciation for the city's famous beer culture. Our guide Jeff was very well versed in the history of the city. He had pictures that depicted the total destruction making the comparison to the present come alive. He took us to the Rathaus-Glockenspiel at the precise time to observe the mechanics in motion and accompanied with the lore behind it. Placed suggested for lunch was very good and authentic.

My husband and I booked a 3 hour walking tour of Munich. One thing I particularly liked was that City Unscripted sent us a survey ahead of time asking about the experiences we would be most interested in. Our guide, Jeff Cox, read the information and took us on an extremely interesting tour of Munich. He was very knowledgeable and personable. I also liked that he touched base with us the day before to confirm the meeting point. All in all I highly recommend this tour.

He is extremely mindful of his guests and has extraordinary knowledge of the tour and history behind it. He shares very entertaining anecdotes about various buildings and points of interest on the tour that were fascinating.
