Hi, I’m Cherida, a local host in Melbourne with a deep appreciation for the city’s rich history, incredible food, and vibrant culture. I know Melbourne’s iconic spots, but what excites me most are the hidden gems—unique boutiques tucked into laneways, family-run eateries serving unforgettable meals, and second-hand bookshops filled with local literary treasures. Whether it’s a high-end restaurant or a beloved budget-friendly spot, I love discovering the best places to eat and sharing them with others. From the bustling streets of the CBD to the creative hubs of Fitzroy and Collingwood, I enjoy helping visitors experience the real Melbourne. Whether you're here for history, shopping, or a taste of the city’s world-class dining scene, I’d love to introduce you to the places that make Melbourne truly special.

My reviews

Cherida’s tour was a highlight of our visit to Melbourne. She reached out with a proposed itinerary, then customized it to our interests, which made it a special experience. We learned much about the history of Melbourne, some of the important people who helped shape it, and visited some beautiful, historic buildings (don’t miss the State Library!). We saw some laneways and arcades, and ended at the Queen Victoria Market. Highly recommend Cherida’s tour.

It was personalized. My guide, Cherita was outstanding. Very knowledgeable. A really good mix of planned and spontaneous tour. Great personality and we laughed alot as we made our war through Melbourne.
