What travelers think of our Melbourne experiences
What you’ll do
You’ll join one of our food-loving local Melbourne hosts to eat your way around the city - the best way to get around any city in our opinion. From Italian to Greek, Indian to Vietnamese, Turkish to Chinese, and everywhere in between, you’ll find food from all over the world that has made its mark on the city.
Wind your way through Chinatown and Little Italy and peruse and taste your way around the street food stalls of South Melbourne Market.
You could even make the pilgrimage to the Footscray neighborhood (which sounds suspiciously like ‘food crazy’, are we right?) where the adventurous will be rewarded with an explosion of flavors from across the globe.
Sample delicate dim sum dumplings and traditional Chinese egg tarts indulge in traditional baklava dripping in honey, and treat yourself to gourmet cheese and gelato.
You'll get lost (figuratively) in the city’s famous laneways and arcades, where hole-in-the-wall eateries are squeezed alongside standing espresso bars or Japanese izakaya, noodles are being handmade in the window or you might stumble across a specialist cheese shop.
A whole world of food awaits! Just don’t wear your tightest clothes is all we’ll say.
